Who Am I?

This is my alter ego. Starting over gave me pause, and made me realize that with my fresh start, I should choose a new name. Not legally, just for writing purposes. I now have the freedom to write what I want, when I want. Some of you may have known me in my past life, but I shall henceforth be known as…Haven Shroud. Welcome to Haven’s Home!

As I’m launching a new career in writing, and eventually promoting my novels (past and present), I’d also like to take you on a journey inside my brain. Some hot topics, from religion to everyday observations, need to be clarified; others need to be pontificated on, and I will give my unique and honest contemplations on what makes the world go ‘round.

Am I Gonna Be Bombarded By Spam?

I publish on Mondays and Fridays. I will eventually put one of those behind a paywall, so it’ll be up to y’all to decide if you want more of me or not! :) My posts are on a wide range of topics because I let my mind wander to see what it comes up with. The paid content will be a more in depth look and discussion about the previous post. However, I’m also toying with having reader participation with Q&As and surveys…but that will all come later.

Why Are You Doing This?!

Humans are curious creatures and so they seek answers; always listening, learning, gaining wisdom, garnering knowledge…never feeling satisfied even if they’re settled. My hope is to bring another viewpoint to thoughts and ideas we think we already have figured out. And, who knows, just maybe I’ll present something challenging that you’ve never sat down and thought about before. I’m so excited to have all of you join me on this journey!
